Green Runs Away with POG Honor

Nittany Lion fans vote the PSU running back as their Huddle Up Player of the Game for his strong performance against Kent State on Saturday.

With 10 carries for 59 yards and some key second-half first down pickups, Stephfon Green made a strong statement with some tough running for Penn State Saturday against Kent State.

Green led all Penn State rushers against the Golden Flashes. The early voting had a battle brewing, but in end Green edged out the competition. Here is how the fan voting broke down:

Stephfon Green (RB): 33%
D'Anton Lynn (CB): 23%
Derek Moye (WR): 21%
Stephon Morris (CB): 15%
Rob Bolden (QB): 8%
