On his thoughts on cracking down on hard hits:
"I truly feel that it is so hard for a defender to think about -- I don't feel like anyone is intentionally trying to hurt a player. I know player safety is No. 1 but it's tough for a defender."
On how the bye has gone:
"It has rejuvenated us. We had a tough scrimmage and a few days away and a good set of practices this week."
On playing free safety vs. strong safety:
"It's pretty different. You have to play low, make reads - I know the coverage. It's just getting used to it."
On Nick Sukay missing the season:
"I think he's obviously bummed out. H comes to practice and helps the young guys. We need him to stay positive. He has tough rehab ahead but is positive and a hard worker."
On where he is currently in the lineup:
"I have taken all the snaps at..."
