State Adds No. 12 for 2012

The Nittany Lions added No. 12 to their Class of 2012 with a pledge from Pennsylvania tight end J.P. Holtz.

J.P. Holtz today announced via Facebook that he has made his college selection saying, "Committed to the Penn State Nittany Lions."

Holtz is a 6-foot-4, 235-pound tight end from Shaler Area High School in Pittsburgh.

Holtz primarily played running back during his junior season, scoring 14 touchdowns. He selected PSU over offers from West Virginia, Syracuse, Rutgers, Purdue, Pittsburgh, Michigan State, Maryland, UConn and Cincinnati.
