Centre County court documents indicate that on Aug. 4, Fera pleaded guilty to charges of disorderly conduct and purchase of alcohol by a minor. The charges were filed by State College police in connection with a June 4 incident.
Fera was 19 years old at the time of the incident and is 20 years old now.
The documents indicate Fera paid fines amounting to $698, after which the cases were closed.
Fera was Penn State's starting punter in 2010, averaging 41.4 yards on 46 kicks. He was also a kickoff specialist for the Nittany Lions. He missed the final two game of the regular season after undergoing an emergency appendectomy.
He returned to action in an Outback Bowl loss to Florida, in which he had a punt blocked.
When Fera is out, sophomore Alex Butterworth is expected to take over the punting duties. Butterworth had 12 punts in 2010, and averaged 38.1 yards per boot.
