After a difficult week for which they carried no blame, Penn State football players put their best foot forward Saturday.
Prior to a showdown with Nebraska at Beaver Stadium, the Nittany Lions eschewed their usual charge onto the field for a slow walk. The four captains were arm in arm and leading the group. The rest of the squad did the same.
A minute or two later, Penn State and Nebraska players met at midfield for a group prayer.
