DALLAS — Penn State quarterback Rob Bolden had a tough go of it in the Nittany Lions' 30-14 loss to Houston in the TicketCity Bowl here Monday.

Filling in for injured starter Matt McGloin, Bolden connected on only 7 of 26 passes for 137 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions.
