Lions Offer Quarterback

Georgia quarterback Steven Bench gets scholarship offer from Penn State during Happy Valley visit.

Steven Bench, a 6-foot-2, 220-pound quarterback from Cairo, Georgia recently received an invitation by Bill O'Brien to visit Happy Valley. Bench, who committed to Rice on December 22, opted to take the opportunity to visit Penn State this weekend.

During the visit he tweeted "just received a scholarship offer from Penn State." Bench is the latest in a flurry of late offers by the new PSU staff, including Alabama LB Beau Hankins, Maryland WR Trevor Williams, New Jersey OL Wendy Laurent and Maryland CB Da'Quan Davis.
