Flipping the Bench

Georgia quarterback switches his commitment from Rice to Penn State following weekend visit to Happy Valley.

The new Penn State coaching staff's deep recruiting ties to Georgia are already paying off.

Steven Bench, a quarterback from Cairo (Ga.) High who had previously committed to Rice, has changed his commitment to the Nittany Lions. This according to Scout.com recruiting expert Chad Simmons.

Bench visited Penn State last weekend and picked up an offer from the Nittany Lions.
