Chambers Lands a Sophomore
Pat Chambers Penn State
Posted Apr 1, 2012

Penn State's impressive underclass recruiting continues as Williamsport guard Washington commits to the Nittany Lions.

First-year Penn State coach Pat Chambers is obviously thinking ahead.

Chambers already has commitments from two of the top junior prospects in Pennsylvania — four star guard Brandon Austin from Philadelphia and three-star guard Geno Thorpe from Pittsburgh.

According to a source close to the situation, Chambers received a commitment from one of the top sophomores in Pennsylvania over the weekend.

Isaiah Washington is a 6-foot-3 guard from Williamsport High School. He helped lead the Millionaires to an 18-9 record and district title. The team also advanced deep into the AAAA state playoffs before losing an overtime heart-breaker to Harrisburg High.

Stay tuned for more.
