Aside from an early glimpse of football, Blue-White Weekend provides opportunities for Penn State fans to socialize with Lion legends while helping out some great causes.
Penn's Civilians Dinner
What: The seventh annual dinner is always a great event to meet and greet former lettermen. It's hosted by former Lion player Rick Sayles and Penn's Civilians. There is also a major silent auction featuring several premier Penn State collectible items. Plus there's typically a who's who of Lion legends at the event. In years past legends like Bobby Engram, Ki-Jana Carter, Adam Taliaferro, O.J. McDuffie, Blair Thomas, Kenny Jackson and a myriad of others have been in attendance. The event benefits Penn's Civilians Educational Organization.

Uplifting Athletes Gridiron Gala
What: First annual Gridiron Gala is hosted by Uplifting Athletes (the organization behind Penn State's annual Lift For Life) and will feature former players like Adam Taliaferro, Brett Brackett, Larry Johnson, Jr. and UA Executive Director and former Penn State player Scott Shirley. Event features gourmet tailgate food and open bar catered by JDK, live entertainment by The Jazz Me Band and dance music from Mixed Up Productions.
