Former PSU Walk-On Faces Drug Charges

According to court documents, Jamel Felder is facing three felony counts and one misdemeanor count.

A former walk-on with the Penn State football team has been hit with multiple felony drug charges.

According to documents filed in Centre County Monday, Jamel Felder is facing two felony counts of manufacture or delivery, or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance.

He also faces a felony charge of criminal use of a communication facility and a misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance.

The documents indicated he had yet to be arrested as of the time they were filed and that he was living in Johnstown, Pa. See the docket report.

Felder was listed on the Penn State roster in 2003 but never played in a game for the Nittany Lions. He was not on the team's roster in 2004.

He is the younger brother of former Penn State offensive lineman and graduate assistant Gus Felder.

According to court documents, this is the third time Jamel Felder has faced felony charges in Centre Country. He had previously pleaded guilty to counts of criminal conspiracy and forgery. See the report.
