Big Ten Basketball Media Day will be held in Chicago Thursday.
At the event, the results of a preseason poll of conference beat writers will be revealed. But that poll only includes the top three teams in the league.
Below, you will find out what beat writers from around the Big Ten think about the entire conference. A panel of 24 writers two covering each school were asked to rank the league from No. 1 through No. 12.
USA Today preseason national No. 1 Indiana was the overwhelming top pick by the writers, receiving all but three first-place votes. Michigan was the only other team to capture any first-place votes.
The panel did not show much love for Penn State. After finishing tied for last in the conference last season, the Nittany Lions are projected to finish 11th this year.
