The Augsburg College Holiday Classic features some of Minnesota's top teams and players. The tournament will be held at Augsburg Thursday through Saturday.

Day 1 (4:00, 5:45, 7:30)
Chanhassen vs. Duluth East (Game 1)
St. Paul Johnson vs. Henry Sibley (Game 2)
Hopkins vs. Andover (Game 3)
Chanhassen (4-1) The Storm is making its third straight showing in the Augsburg College Holiday Classic. They finished third last year after a sixth place finish in 2010. The fourth year program has made strides each season, finishing 4-23 in 2009-10, 13-13 in 2010-11 and 23-6 last year. They are led by 6-foot-5 sophomore Joey Witthus, who is averaging 20.8 points per game. He scored 36 points in the season opener versus Henry Sibley.
Duluth East (1-2) The Greyhounds are making a return visit to Augsburg after finishing in sixth place last season, behind
Taylor Stafford
, who scored a tournament-record 114 points in his three games. Duluth East made its second straight Class 4A state tournament appearance, winning 18 of its last 20 games. Seniors Shaq Coleman (18.5 points per game) and Rell Ladd (16.0) are taking a bigger share of the scoring load with the graduation of their three top scorers. Sophomore Justin Boyland adds 12.0 points per contest.
St. Paul Johnson (1-2) The Governors are making their fourth straight appearance in the Ausburg College Holiday Classic. The 2009 champions finished runner-up last season. Johnson finished in third place in the Class AAA Tournament last year, their fourth straight state appearance. The Governors are led by senior Quashingm Smith-Pugh, who is averaging 21.5 points per game. They have three other double figure scorers in Jalen Mobley (15.0), Peirre Conwell (14.3) and Bajuan Adams (12.3).
Henry Sibley (5-2) The Warriors have won five straight games after dropping their first two contests of the season. They are also making their fourth straight Augsburg appearance, having finished in fourth place for the second time. The Warriors are led by senior Adam Heussner, who is averaging a team-best 14.1 points per game. He has three games of 20 or more points this year. Fellow senior Zach Haas adds 11.7 points and 6-foot-6 junior Mark Pumper contributes 11.6 points per contest.
Hopkins (5-2) The Royals are also making their fourth straight Augsburg appearance, winning the title the past seasons after finishing runner-up in 2009. Hopkins has posted an impressive 91-5 during that period with two state titles. The Royals have a balanced attack with five players averaging double figures. They are led by junior outside threat Jake Wright with 15.0 points per game. Senior Jamal Davis, the team’s lone returning starter, adds 14.4 points. Junior point guard Kamali Chambers has filled in for older brother Syani, who is at Harvard and is contributing 14.0 points. Nick Johnson (10.1) and freshman

(10.0) complete the starting lineup. Coffey already has been offered a scholarship by
Iowa State

Penn State

Minnesota
Gopher Richard Coffey.
Andover (1-5) The Huskies are making their first ever Augsburg appearance. They are led by juniors
Connor Wilkie
(17.3 points per game) and Kyle Kettler (13.5). Wilkie is an outstanding football player, who is considered one of the state’s top quarterbacks in the Class of 2014.
