Bunting Adds Hoosier Offer

2014 Hinsdale Central (Ill.) tight end Ian Bunting added another Big Ten offer over the weekend, from Indiana. He talks about his Hoosiers offer inside.

2014 tight end Ian Bunting of Hinsdale Central (Ill.) added his fourth offer Sunday on a visit to Indiana.

Bunting has offers from Illinois, Vanderbilt, Purdue and now Indiana.

"I loved the school. It was a great place with really nice facilities," Bunting said of Indiana. "Also the coaches all know what they're doing and have seen a lot of football success in the past."

Another activity that stood out to Bunting, was getting to see Indiana take on Michigan State in basketball.

"Not to mention, the basketball game was awesome," Bunting said. "We went to the basketball game and got to tour the football facilities, which were very nice."

Bunting wasn't expecting the offer he received Sunday on his junior day visit.

"I never go into a visit just expecting to get an offer," Bunting said. "But I had talked to the coaches a lot in the previous weeks and a few of them had stopped by school, so I knew they were interested."

One thing that does stand out to Bunting about the Hoosiers offense, is their tight end use.

"I really like their fast paced offense and their tight end use," Bunting said. "As for the visit, I really enjoyed it."

The 6-foot-6, 215 pound prospect traveled down with Core 6 Athletes, a Chicago based group that had several other athletes receive offers during their visit.

"It was great going with a group where multiple offers were given out," Bunting said. "Because it shows how dominant Chicagoland is becoming."

He continued, "It's good knowing that some of my current teammates could potentially be teammates of mine in the future."
