Penn State's All-Big Ten point guard was back practicing Monday for the first time since injuring his Achilles last season. FOS was on hand to see him in action.

Penn State All-Big Ten guard Tim Frazier returned to the practice floor Monday, having been cleared for all action for the first time since rupturing his left Achilles tendon last November.

There was no visible brace on Frazier's left foot, and he did all of the drills the rest of the team did — including taking charges. He did not appear to be quite as quick and springy as usual, though the 6-foot-1, 170-pounder did dunk off two feet during one drill. He did not seem to have any trouble making sharp cuts.

The fifth-year senior was first in line with his group — the PSU veterans — for every drill.

You can see him in action in the video above, wearing his familiar No. 23 jersey.

The Nittany Lions were beginning preparations for their off-season tour of Europe, which tips off early next month.

Neither Frazier nor head coach Pat Chambers was made available for comment during the practice at the Bryce Jordan Center's South Gym. About the first 30 minutes of the session were open to the media.

Frazier led Penn State and finished second in the Big Ten in scoring (18.8 ppg) as a junior in 2011-12. He also led the league in assists (6.2 per) and finished second in steals (2.4), and was expected to contend for All-Conference honors last winter. But he ruptured his left Achilles tendon in the fourth game and was lost for the remainder of the season.

Frazier had surgery a few days after the injury. He received a medical redshirt, paving the way for his return for the 2013-14 campaign.
