Robinson Catches Player of the Game Honor

Despite the loss last weekend, Penn State fans found some bright spots on the offensive side of the ball. Among them was wideout Allen Robinson whome Nittany Nation voters named their Playero of the UCF Game.

Allen Robinson had another impressive outing for Penn State against UCF, grabbing nine passes for 143 yards and a touchdown. What have been even more impressive was his ability to draw four separate pass interference calls from Knight defenders.

Robinson beat out the likes of QB Christian Hackenberg and RB Zach Zwinak for the Player of the Central Florida Game Honor from PSU fans. He ended up with 58 percent of the fan vote.

The Fight On State player of the Game honor is the first nd only award given to Penn State players by Penn State fans. Voting is conducted exclusively at after every PSU football game.
