The Connecticut athlete committed to the Nittany Lions during the team's Junior Day Saturday.

The first member of Penn State's Class of 2015 is on board.'s Greg Pickel reports that Connecticut running back/defensive back Jarvis Miller committed to the Nittany Lions while attending the program's Junior Day Saturday.

A 6-foot-2, 190-pounder, Miller is rated among the top 10 players in New England by's Brian Dohn.

Dohn's take: "Miller offers versatility since he can play running back and is also an intriguing safety prospect. He has good speed and vision, and as a running back he gets through the hole well. He is a long strider and smooth runner."
