On Monday, Alosi's name popped up on a docket sheet in The Unified Judicial System of Pennsylvania Web Portal.
According to court documents, on March 21 State College Police charged Alosi with misdemeanor counts of simple assault and conspiracy to commit simple assault, and a summary count of physical harassment. The alleged offenses were said to have happened Jan. 31, according to the documents.
He faces a preliminary hearing April 23. The documents offered no further specifics of the case.
A Penn State spokesman declined comment on Alosi's status.
However, sources close to the program indicate that he has been held out of recent sessions due to an unspecified injury.
