FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- News and notes on the Nittany Lions' recruiting prospect from Sunday's Nike camp in the Garden State.

Florham Park, N.J. — With five class of 2015 verbal commitments on hand, Penn State was well represented at Sunday's NFTC camp at the New York Jets' practice facility.

So was Scout.com - and FOS - as Scout national recruiting analyst Brian Dohn, Fight On State recruiting reporter Greg Pickel, ScarletReport.com publisher Sam Hellman, and CuseNation.com Mike McAllister were on hand to take in the action.

Penn State running back commitment Saquon Barkley grabbed positional MVP honors for his efforts, and the Nittany Lions' verbal commitments on hand offered their takes on the class and who they are eyeing to join them. Elsewhere, uncommitted prospects, including four-star tackle Grant Newsome and three-star corner Ayron Monroe, among others, detailed the state of their recruitment and where the Nittany Lions stand.
