Conway discusses his NFL career saying it was not as long as he had expected due to injuries, but it was fun and productive.
Being part of the 1994 was a special experience with a "tight knit group of guys." He said there is no comparison between his four years at Penn State and his seven years in the NFL. Penn State showed him what being a teammate really means.
From day one he realized that the NFL is a business. In college you bust your butt everyday and end up making some of your best friends for life.
He realized the 1994 season was special when all he did was kick extra points from the start of the season.
Asked about teams like Oklahoma and USC, Brett says they compare themselves and says "we were better" (laughing). He feels Penn State can get back to where they are competitive with those teams. This is one of the best programs and the success should match that.
His first game he saw at Beaver Stadium was a game he played in. "It's the best college athletic environment in the country, hands down," he explained.
He is "job searching" currently looking for his next gig after the NFL.
We recently caught up with legendary Penn State kicker Brett Conway who discusses everything from his first game at Beaver Stadium to how he first realized the 1994 was special. Conway also discusses the NFL and compares his time in the pros with his days at PSU.
