For the first time this season an entire unit has been honored as the Fight On State Player of the Week. This unit had a dominating performance in the clash against the Gophers, as well as a dominating performance with gathering fan votes this week.

The offensive line looked like a reborn unit against Minnesota, helping the air attack pass for 175 yards and rolling up 371 yards on the ground.

The unit was instrumental in not just controlling, but dominating the trenches and helping both Michael Robinson and Tony Hunt break the 100 yard rushing barrier.

The offensive line carried 59% of the fan vote, distancing themselves from previous FOS Player of the Week winner Michael Robinson who accumulated 29% of the Nittany Nation's ballots.

The voting results ended up as:

QB Michael Robinson (297 total yards) 29.1%
RB Tony Hunt (112 rushing, two TDs) 5.0%
The Offensive Line 59.3%
LB Paul Posluszny (9 tackles, 2 for loss) 1.5%
DB Calvin Lowry (9 tackles) 5.0%

The Fight On State Player of the Week award is the first and only honor provided to a Penn State player by the Nittany Nation fans. Voting is exclusively held on FightOnState.com after each game, with results being posted on Wednesdays.
