Penn State's victory over Ohio State is proving to pay dividends for the Nittany Lions with the addition of Delaware defensive end Eric Latimore to the Class of 2006 according to the News Journal.

Eric Latimore, a 6-foot-6, 250-pound, 4.8-second-forty defensive end from Middletown (Middletown HS), DE attended the PSU-OSU clash and decided to join the Nittany Lions, according to the News Journal newspaper.

Latimore selected Penn State over offers from Miami and Pitt, and told Coach Joe Paterno of his decision on Monday after his visit.

Middletown coach Mark DelPercio told the New Journal, "He realizes Penn State is a very much a football school, but more important, that he sees what a great job they do of developing a young man and not just a football player."
