Devlin to PSU Per Local Newspaper

West Chester (Pa.) Daily Local reports star quarterback will sign with the Nittany Lions. Devlin is said to have informed the PSU coaching staff of his decision late Monday night.

Pat Devlin is a four-star prospect from Downingtown (Pa.) East High who committed to Miami last summer. Though it never became clear what the issue was, there apparently had been some sort of falling out with Penn State, a school to which he has strong family ties.

Devlin decided to open up his recruitment after the recent coaching shakeup at Miami. He and his parents visited Happy Valley over the weekend.

"Once I reunited with Penn State, I knew it was home," he told the Daily Local.

Devlin is the 21st known commitment for PSU's Class of 2006 and the second QB, joining New Jersey standout Brett Brackett. We will have more on this story soon.
