Projected as a defensive end or outside linebacker in college, Kevion Latham has played both positions at Page High in Greensboro, N.C., the last two years. He had 12.5 sacks, 83 tackles and two fumble recoveries as a junior. According to a source close to the Penn State football program, he committed to the Nittany Lions Tuesday. Latham picked Penn State over a host of schools that offered, including North Carolina, Stanford, Oregon, California and Georgia Tech. Latham is the eighth player to commit to Penn State's Class of 2007. We will have more on this story as soon as more news becomes available. -30- ![]() |
