ABC will televise Penn State's Big Ten opener with border rival Ohio State on Saturday, September 23. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. in Ohio Stadium for the split national telecast.

The clash with the No. 1 Buckeyes (2-0) is No. 25 Penn State's (1-1) fifth announced TV appearance of the season. This Saturday's contest with Youngstown State will air on ESPNU at 3:30 p.m. and the Nittany Lions' Oct. 14 clash vs. Michigan will be an ABC split national telecast at 8:00 p.m. in Beaver Stadium.

The Nittany Lions' season opener with Akron aired on ESPN2 and last Saturday's game at No. 2 Notre Dame was on NBC.

The Nittany Lions have appeared on television in 140 of their last 142 games.
