Penn State senior offensive tackle admits he had minor knee surgery prior to the Minnesota game. When Brown missed outings with Northwestern and then the Gophers, the PSU company line was he had a knee sprain. Turned out it was more than that. Penn State offensive tackle Levi Brown, the senior anchor of the team's offensive line, missed two games earlier this season with what was described as a knee sprain. As it turns out, the big man actually had surgery to repain a torn meniscus.
