FightOnState.com sources revealed the commitment Wednesday.
Astorino is the 20th member of Penn State's Class of 2007.
Astorino played quarterback and defensive back at General McLane, and led his team to the 2006 PIAA AAA championship. He was the state AAA Player of the Year and projects as a defensive back in college.
Astorino was also chosen to the Pennsylvania squad of the 2007 Big 33 Classic.
His strong showing in the state playoffs helped spark the interest of many major college programs, even though he had previously committed to Kent State. Last week, Iowa became the first Big Ten team to offer, and Astorino visited Iowa City over the weekend.
