Going to Happy Valley for Blue White Weekend? Get the rare opportunity to dine with Penn State greats like Paul Posluszny, Blair Thomas, Greg Buttle, Kenny Jackson and Dennis Onkotz, among others at the second annual Penn's Civilians Fundraising Dinner and help a great cause.

If you're a Penn State fan, this is an event you can't miss. Last year's inaugural event featured Lion legends like Ki-Jana Carter, O.J. McDuffie and Bobby Engram, among several others. This year's event is expected to be bigger and better.

What: Second Annual Penn's Civilians Dinner
Where: Friday, April 20, 6:00 pm
Where: Le'Papillon at Toftrees Resort, State College, Pa.

The purpose of the event is not only to raise funds to support Penn's Civilians' programs, but to also create awareness of the organization and build positive relationships with community members.

This year's honorary dinner chairperson is former PSU running back Blair Thomas. Penn State defensive line coach Larry Johnson, Sr. will also be honored at the event.

Among the other PSU personalities expected to attend the dinner are:

Tony Pittman., Jr
Paul Posluszny
Wally Richardson
Kenny Jackson

Troy Drayton
Greg Buttle
John Gilmore
Rogers Alexander

The event also features a silent auction featuring a wide array of one-of-a-kind PSU and sports collectibles.

Penn's Civilians was created by former Nittany Lion Rick Sayles in 2002 to provide academic and social support to urban youth. It began with a pilot program at Steelton Highspire High and has been growing with the help of the Penn State sports community. They currently provide programs in Harrisburg and State College, and organizers hope to bring Penn's Civilians to other communities throughout the state.

Tickets to this amazing event are $100. Make checks payable to Penn's Civilians Educational Organization and mail to:
