On Friday morning the preliminary hearing commenced for the Penn State fight incident, which allegedly occured on April 1. After an hour an a half delay, the hearing kicked off with some good news for Penn State cornerback Justin King.

Minutes after the preliminary hearing began at 10:10 AM on Friday morning, the prosecution elected to drop all charges against Penn State cornerback Justin King related to the alleged fight incident after a long diliberation period.

The reason for the charges being dropped according to the assistant district attorney was "insuffient evidence." As an aside, King's step father Terry Smith attended the hearing today.
