With Penn State putting on a show for the second largest crowd in Beaver Stadium history (110,078) and full a Whiteout in effect, several players stepped up for the Nittany Lions against Notre Dame. Cast your vote for FightOnState.com's exclusive Player of the Game award.

Here are the candidates for FOS' Player of the Game honor against Notre Dame:

Dan Connor: Connor was instrumental in Notre Dame rolling up a net o zero yards on the ground. He also pulled down and instrumental sack to snuff out an ND drive.

Justin King: King shut down his side of the field, choking off the deep routes for Jimmy Clausen. He also had an interception.

Aaron Maybin: Maybin pulled down a big sack on Clausen and played an impressive roll in the front four rotation to pressure the pocket and create issues for the Irish passing game.

Austin Scott: Scott rolled up 116 yards on 28 carries (4.2-yard average) and scored two touchdowns.

Derrick Williams: Williams had two receptions for 14 yards. He also had a 78-yard punt return to tie the game at 7-7.
