A synopsis of how the high school seniors who have already verbally accepted a scholarship offer to play football at Penn State performed this past weekend.

Jason Evans:

According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Jason carried the ball 12 times for 95 yards and a touchdown, and caught an 8-yard touchdown pass as visiting Harrison (6-0) defeated Osborne (1-5) by a score of 42-0.

Paul Posluszny:

According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Paul did not play due to an ankle injury which will most likely keep him out of this week's action as well.  Without their talented RB/LB, Hopewell suffered their first loss (6-1) to visiting New Castle (7-0) by a score of 18-0.

Austin Scott:

According to the The Morning Call, Austin ran for 221 yards on just 19 carries and scored five touchdowns as Parkland (6-1) defeated visiting Northhampton (2-5) by a score of 53-6.  Austin had touchdown runs of 8, 25, 27, 27 and 33 yards.  He was also 2 for 2 on 2-point conversion runs.

John Shaw:

Although Spring Grove head coach Gregg Trone did not have the exact stats on hand, he stated that John had approximately 5 solo tackles and 3 assists as Spring Grove (6-1) defeated visiting Dallastown (2-5) by a score of 17-7.  Shaw did not have any sacks during the contest.

"We run the Delaware Wing-T offense and we have him at guard, so a kid that's 6'4" and 280 pounds at guard, he gets a lot of work on offense for us," Coach Trone said.  "If we had the luxury to just play him one way defensively, his stats defensively would be much better, but we don't.  He's obviously one of our best athletes, so we have him at a guard, which is the mainstay in the Wing-T offense.  Physically, that takes a toll on a big kid, it really does.  He hustles from whistle to whistle believe me."

The York Daily Record has the game story.
