How serious is commit Eric Shrive about getting a jump on his Penn State career?
Thursday, the five-star offensive line prospect from West Scranton High in Scranton, Pa., made a day trip to Happy Valley to meet with his future position coaches for the Nittany Lions, Bill Kenney and Dick Anderson.
He brought along his high school line coach, so the West Scranton brain trust could get a taste of how PSU does things up front.
Shrive arrived late in the morning and spent most of the afternoon on campus, meeting with Kenney and Anderson, being introduced to Lion standout linebacker Sean Lee and much more.
When his visit wrapped up at 3:30 p.m., he went downtown to pick up some Penn State gear at a local bookstore and then — before heading home — took some time to talk to FightOnState.com.
