Injury Update: Devon Still

Penn State redshirt freshman defensive tackle slated to undergo surgery this week to repair a broken bone sustained in Saturday's scrimmage.

Penn State redshirt freshman defensive tackle Devon Still broke his left ankle in a scrimmage Saturday. The program is reporting that he will have surgery this week to repair the injury and that he will be out of action from eight to 10 weeks.

Penn State director of athletic medicine Dr. Wayne Sebastianelli will handle the procedure.

FightOnState.com broke the news of Still's injury Saturday afternoon.

This is the second straight preseason in which Still has sustained a serious injury. In 2007, he tore the ACL and MCL in his left knee.
