Evan Royster became the first player to rush for six touchdowns in the first tow games of a season under Joe Paterno and Nittany Nation fans thanked him in style, naming him their FOS Player of the Game for Oregon State.

With 17 carries for 141 yards and three touchdowns, Evan Royster managed to overcome Oregon State stacking the box and boosted his season touchdown total to an impressive six through the first two games.

Royster ended up with 47 percent of the hundreds of fan votes, outpacing fellow OSU standouts Daryll Clark and Jordan Norwood.

Here is how the voting broke down:

Daryll Clark: 23%
Josh Gaines: 10%
Jordan Norwood: 19%
Evan Royster: 47%
Mickey Shuler: 1%

The FOS Player of the Game is the first and only honor given to a Penn State player by Nittany Nation fans. Voting is exclusively conducted after every PSU football game on FightOnState.com.
