Tight end Mickey Shuler fielded a variety of questions on his Tuesday morning conference call. Here are some of his comments:

On if he shares Joe Paterno stories and experiences together with his dad:

"We don't really compare our seasons, but we compare some of the funny things Joe says or does -- how he yells at us on the field and all."

On how much he is looking forward to the bye this week:

"I think everyone is looking forward to this week. Everyone is a little banged up after nine games. Hopefully next week we'll come out 100% against Iowa."

On what he'll focus on this week:

"I am going to try to get a few extra lifts. We're going to practice and do what we normally do. Nothing is really changing. The folks "

On what he takes away from the Ohio State win and what he sees as the biggest challenge for this team to close out the season:

"It was obviously a great win. Both teams came to play and that was one of the toughest games I've ever played in. We need to just stay focused, liek Joe always says, "Take care of the little things and the big things will take care of themselves," and that is how I live my life."
