New Jersey safety prospect picks Nittany Lions over Scarlet Knights and joins Penn State's Class of 2009.

According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Paulsboro, NJ safety prospect Gerald Hodges has made a decision and reversed direction on Rutgers, pledging to Penn State.

Hodges plans to enroll early at PSU this January. As he said, "It was a really hard decision. I had a really good relationship with Rutgers, but I just felt Penn State was the best fit."
