Kersey Reverses Field, Now With PSU

New Jersey wide receiver/defensive back changes commitment from Rutgers to the Lions, according to his hometown newspaper.

Wide recevier/defensive back Shawney Kersey of Woodbury (N.J.) High committed to Penn State on a visit to campus Friday, according to his hometown newspaper.

The Glouchester County Times broke the news in Saturday's edition.

Kersey had been committed to Rutgers before changing his mind.

Kersey is the second Rutgers commit to change his pledge from the Scarlet Knights to the Nittany Lions, joining early enrollee Gerald Hodges, a linebacker from Paulsboro, N.J.
