Manheim linebacker is the 15th member of Joe Paterno's Class of 2010. He announced Thursday.

Manheim (Pa.) Central linebacker Dakota Royer announced for Penn State during at press conference at his school Thursday. "I went up there and felt at home," he said at the press conference. "There is no place like Penn State."

The athletic 6-foot-3, 207-pounder is a three-star prospect as rated by Scout.com. He is the 15th member of the Nittany Lions' Class of 2010, leaving the program with approximately fourscholarships to spend in the final six months before signing day.

Royer is expected to be State's final commitment for at least the next several weeks.

As a junior, Royer won Associated Press first-team AAA All-State honors as a defensive end. He made 86 tackles, 32 tackles for loss, 13 sacks, four deflections and a blocked punt. He also played receiver, hauling in 56 passes for 1,099 yards.
