Lions Land Michigan Defensive End

The timing of Olaniyan's commitment was a bit surprising. But he tells he will be a Nittany Lion. four-star defensive end C.J. Olaniyan has committed to Penn State.

Olaniyan told Scout's Allen Trieu: "I am going to Penn State. I committed yesterday."

A 6-foot-5, 230-pounder from Warren Mott High near Detroit, Olaniyan had indicated as recently as late August that he was "wide open" in his recruitment.

He is the 17th player to commit to the Lions for their Class of 2010. Stay tuned for more details.
