Penn State football coach Joe Paterno has been slowed by serious leg injuries in two of the last three seasons.
But if they impacted his quickness on the sideline, it was not evident in a close call he had when the Nittany Lions faced Northwestern Saturday.
In the second quarter, PSU quarterback Daryll Clark hit receiver Derek Moye on an out pattern. Moye made the grab and appeared to be headed straight at Paterno on the sideline.
