On playing his final game at Beaver Stadium this week:
A lot has been said it about it. Honestly, I can't believe it, man. It's weird because it hasn't hit me. But it will come on game day.
What a journey it's been. But it will be a lot better if we go out and play hard and win on Saturday and finish our season on an up beat.
It's been a long trip, man, but I've enjoyed every minute of it.
On the perception by some that he can't win big games:
No matter what I say or you say, they're going to say exactly [that], and it's gonna be that way for as long as people talk about it.
It's unfortunate we weren't able to win last week, but we moved on in a very good way. Coming off Monday and Tuesday, we practiced very well.

On earning two degrees at Penn State despite having attend a prep school before arriving on campus:
I'm very proud of the accomplishments that I've achieved because it wasn't always an easy road. I've run through a couple of pitfalls and bumps and I feel I've overcome it. I've needed some help, I've asked for a tutor when I needed it. But I'm here today and very proud of it.
On Joe Paterno's comments that PSU players may have been too intense in practice last week:
