Highlights of Penn State quarterback Daryll Clark's weekly teleconference:
On if the team is talking about the possibility of going to a BCS bowl:
He said there was some talk but the seniors and coaches have put a stop to it. It's a good thought, but we still have to go out to East Lansing and get a win before we worry about that.
On the erratic play of the passing game the last couple of weeks:
We've struggled with consistency a little bit. I knew coming in [to the season], as did everyone else, that there would be some ups and downs. That's only natural with an entire new cast [of receivers]. I think we've handled it well for the most part.
On the importance of the road trip to Michigan State:
It's very important to get a win. It is the last game of the [regular] season for the seniors, despite the fact that it is on the road. If we get that win it continues the possibility of us going to a BCS bowl game.
On the slow starts of the offense on the road this year:
Sometimes the defense of the team we're playing against guesses right. We just have to be able to adjust. That's what we've done on the road all year. The main thing is not to panic...
