Penn State QB Daryll Clark and assistant coach Jay Paterno respond to analyst's "interception machine" comments.

EAST LANSING, Mich. -- With a late-afternoon kick against Michigan State here Saturday, Penn State quarterback Daryll Clark was hanging out in his hotel room that morning watching ESPN.

Imagine his surprise when the college football talk included him.

According to Clark and PSU's quarterback coach Jay Paterno, ESPN analyst Todd McShay called Clark an "interception machine" in big games.

Clark obviously did not take kindly to the comments.

He responded by lighting up the Spartans to the tune of 310 yards, four touchdowns and no picks in a 42-14 win.

Afterward, we caught up with Clark and Paterno to ask about McShay's comments. Check it out below.
