Odrick beat out an impressive field of players, including safety Drew Astorino and linebackers Navorro Bowman, Josh Hull and Sean Lee. Odrick received an eye-popping 55 percent of the hundreds of fan votes cast.
This is the second major award for Odrick in as many weeks as he was named the 2009 Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year last week.
The lead up to the FOS MVP honors is the Fight On State Player of the Game honor, which is the first and only award given to Penn State players by Penn State fans. Fan voting is conducted exclusively at FightOnState.com. Here is is a rundown of the recipients of the fan honor this season:
