The senior tailback from Alexandria, Va. (T.C. Williams) had a personal-best of four touchdowns during the game - three on the ground and one through the air. He had several plays where he pulled off some big runs, including gains of 26 and 22 yards against Temple.
Hunt managed to collect a career-high 192 all-purpose yards and has 1,098 career rushing yards. He is now only the sixth Nittany Lion to produce a pair of 1,000-yard seasons along with John Cappelletti (1972-73), Curt Warner (1981-82), Blair Thomas (1987, 1989), Ki-Jana Carter (1993-94) and Curtis Enis (1996-97).
Tony Hunt set the record this season for most Fight On State Player of the Game honors in a single season, with five. He is up for the honor again this week and currently leads in the voting.
This is Hunt's first Big Ten weekly accolade of his career.
