| Big Ten Hoops TV Slate Announced

The 2007-08 Big Ten men's basketball TV schedule has been announced. As usual, Penn State has a limited number of national network TV games. But each of the Lions' tilts NOT on national TV can been seen on the new Big Ten Network. Penn State's first national TV game is the Jan. 2 conference opener at Northwestern. It will run on ESPN2 at 9 p.m. Eastern. That’s the good news. The bad news is it will be running opposite the Sugar Bowl, which will be carried by Fox. The second national TV game will be vs. Ohio State at the Jordan Center Jan. 29. Action is slated to tip at 8 p.m. on ESPN. A third game — vs. Indiana at the BJC March 9 — could be picked up by ESPN or CBS. You can see the entire 2007-08 Big Ten television schedule if you CLICK HERE. Keep in mind that with the advent of the Big Ten Network, no conference games will be syndicated regionally. Penn State’s non-conference TV appearances will likely be announced next week.
