Penn State's first national TV game is the Jan. 2 conference opener at Northwestern. It will run on ESPN2 at 9 p.m. Eastern. Thats the good news. The bad news is it will be running opposite the Sugar Bowl, which will be carried by Fox.
The second national TV game will be vs. Ohio State at the Jordan Center Jan. 29. Action is slated to tip at 8 p.m. on ESPN.
A third game — vs. Indiana at the BJC March 9 — could be picked up by ESPN or CBS.

Penn States non-conference TV appearances will likely be announced next week. The Lions are already slated to face Virginia Tech on ESPN (Nov. 28, 9:30 p.m.) as part of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.
