"I just loved everything about the visit," Morris said of his visit to Penn State. Morris also pointed to the fact that State College is a "true college town" as a factor in his decision, saying "I just felt comfortable with everything."
Morris is the ninth overall commitment to PSU's Class of 2009 and the fifth defensive back in the class. Morris also represents the fourth Maryland prospect to pledge to the Nittany Lions in this class and the second from Eleanor Roosevelt High School, Derrick Williams alma mater.
When asked about what drew him to PSU, Morris said, "I really like their coaching staff, especially Coach Larry Johnson and they have a great tradition there with solid academics."
In the end Morris chose PSU over offers from Illinois, Louisville and Rutgers.
