Less than a day after Penn State dropped a crushing 24-23 decision to Iowa last Saturday, Nittany Lion senior offensive guard Rich Ohrnberger received a call from his mother, Patricia.

Last Sunday, Ohrnberger's father, also named Rich, suffered a heart attack. When told of the news, the younger Ohrnberger immediately headed home to East Meadow, N.Y., to be with his family.
