| Final SR stats: rushed for 1,429 yards on 182 attempts, caught 22 passes for 423 yards, completed three of eight passes and led WPIAL in scoring with 36 touchdowns. Had four INTs on defense. Career stats: 2,770 yards and 61 receptions.
has been named a U.S. Army All-American. Dickerson was selected to the Associated Press Class AAA All-State team and named its Player of the Year. He was selected as a member of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette “Fab 22” team, The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review “Terrific 25” team. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette selected the Imperial, Pa., native as its Player of the Year. The MSASportsNetwork also selected Dickerson as its Player of the Year and named him to their “Elite 11” team. Duckerson was the recipient of the fifth annual Mercury Award given to the best player in Western Pennsylvania by the Pittsburgh Athletic Association. Dickerson was selected to the Pennsylvania Big 33 team.
Final JR (11-1) stats: 130 carries/1065 yds and 13 TDs; 25 receptions for 517 yds and eight TDs; 48 tackles and three interceptions.
Dickerson reports a 2.9 GPA/June 10 first-time ACT.
Dickerson: "I've got some great vision on the field and I'm good at seeing holes open up in the offense when I play running back. I've got some good size too. I just want to get in the best shape that I possibly can for next season and work on my speed and strength."
