| Fields is a specimen, 200 pounds of solid muscle. He is one of the best deep threats in Pennsylvania, yet defense could be where his future lies. Fields is a tenacious and feared hitter. When you watch him play, as soon as he delivers a blow, he is on the mind of that player the rest of the game. |

| Fields was named to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette "Fab 22" team, first team Class A Associated Press All-State, MSASPORTS "Elite 11". Pittsburgh Tribune Review"Terrific 25", and first team All-WPIAL. The Associate Press crowned Fields as its 2005 Class A Player of the Year. He was also chosen as Class A Player of the Year by the WPIAL. Fields was selected to the Pennsylvania Big 33 team.
Fields scored 30 touchdowns this season and the average length of those scores was 49 yards. He had 18 scores of 50 yards or more. He had 18 touchdowns on receptions, five on punt returns, four on runs, two on interceptions and one on a fumble recovery. He finished with 704 yards rushing on 59 carries and caught 42 passes for 1,167 yards.
Also played for the Dukes' basketball team. Fields was named to the AP All-State first team after averaging 18 ppg.
